Transformational Facilitation
I am the co-founder of X-Stasis, a cutting-edge facilitated process that builds change intelligence inside businesses. X-Stasis begins with the understanding that change is no longer a one-time event. Instead, it is a continuous and ongoing journey that involves regular phases of creative imagination, experimentation and real-time learning, as well as grieving and separating from the habits, ideas, systems, goals, and identities of the past.
X-Stasis builds change intelligence by integrating analytical thinking with a deeper level of human understanding. Our process begins with a 5-week facilitated Discovery designed to surface hidden blockages, facilitate transformational dialogue and unearth clear, practical transformation pathways across an accessible range of budgets.
Ultimately, the outcome X-Stasis creates is the ability to change: as an individual leader, an exec team and a business.
Workshops & Speaking
I design and deliver unique experiential sessions that build capabilities like storytelling, creative thinking and emotional intelligence. My work is informed by 15+ years working with 200+ organizations, and with teams across the business, including execs, sales, marketing, product, finance, operations, HR and more.
Beginning in the 2010s, I have built a reputation as a thought leader in the field of leadership storytelling, speaking widely across many events and podcasts. I have developed an immersive approach that teachers that there is more to storytelling than structure; my workshops focus as much on the inner capabilities, like empathy, creativity and artistry, as the “how-to” be an effective leadership communicator. I work across media: writing, speaking, pitches and more.
Since the pandemic, I have broadened my expertise to include topics around the Future of Work, specifically how we can compost existing systems to provide the soil necessary for change, as well as the role that emotionality and even soulful spirituality must play in this transformation. I speak honestly, directly and spontaneously. As a result, every session and every talk I deliver is unique.
1:1 Mentorship
As a mentor, my primary focus is on guiding others through the intricate journey from manager to transformational leader. Among other things, this journey requires letting go of a sense of control and embracing the vulnerability and excitement of creativity. This vital subject matter has unfortunately been overlooked in business, until now.
I am proudly not a certified coach. I have intentionally chosen against developing this dogma, even though I have a great respect for many coaches and, in general, for the overall field. However, the foundation of my mentorship is that the answers to today’s problems must be creative non-dogmatic, and my work is dedicated to this exploration.
My expertise comes from dedicated study at the feet of many masters across an enormously broad-ranging set of interests. I love working with change-seeking leaders who are also confidently working to be different.
