Organizational Resilience Consulting

Integrating systems thinking, narrative strategy, and human-centered leadership, I help business teams from 25 to 250 people build adaptive capacity.

Welcome! I’m Jordan Bower — transformational facilitator.

Organizational resilience is one of those buzzwords that everyone knows how to say and very few know how to enable. The business case is self-evident — 62% of CEOs expect their business model to change this year, while just 9% of orgs report making real progress developing adaptable systems. But the broad emphasis has been in trying to enable resilience at the individual level, rather than at the level of the organizational systems— which is why there is so much talk about “growth mindset” and “grit”, and so little work being done empower systematic flexibility.

Mindfulness trainings aside, true resilience is a shared capacity built through culture, communication, and leadership. It’s the ability to sense what’s changing, make meaning of it together, and move forward in alignment — even when the path forward is uncertain. My work with clients is about developing the tools, skills, and mindsets that can enable this level of resilience: flexibility as a core component and key differentiator of an organizational system.

Beginning with an in-depth resilience audit and leading to tailored solutions and a customized change program — which I can help implement, along with my network of coaches, designers and partners — my work helps leaders be a beacon through change — modeling effective responses to uncertainty, choosing when and what to take action on, and communicating with courage.

This work is complex and exploratory by nature. That’s part of what makes it fun!
If this resonates with you, I would love to connect.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“Jordan’s work challenged our team perfectly.”

the six capabilities of organizational resilience

A Practical Org. Resilience Toolkit

These six capabilities are the foundation of my approach to resilient transformation. They create the conditions for evolution to take root across culture and systems, leadership and narrative — creating change from the bottom up.

Together, they form a living system of resilience — built for innovation, sustained through connection, and designed to support business transformation as an ongoing process.

Sensing

Detect weak signals and surface what others miss.

Tune into the subtle cues, like emerging tensions, misalignments, or trends that haven’t yet made the dashboard. Sensing creates space for proactive learning before crisis hits.

Framing

Make meaning from uncertainty — and help others do the same.

Interpret what’s happening, reframe it through a shared lens, and offer clarity about what matters now. Framing is how leaders guide sensemaking without needing all the answers.

Adapting

Pivot quickly and safely — bridging past stories and future vision

Make real-time adjustments that reach to the future, rather than being rooted in old narratives, habits or goals. This capability enables teams to run smart experiments, learn quickly, and respond without overcorrecting or freezing up.

Aligning

Maintain shared connection even as things change.

Create ongoing cohesion — not once a year at offsite, but as a regular communications practice. Aligning ensures people stay connected to strategy, to each other, and to the bigger “why.”

Evolving

Be changed by what’s happening — rising beyond preconceptions

Notice what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to shift — and build rituals that support learning from the journey itself. See organizational change not as a box to tick, but as a stage in collective growth and healing.

Embodying

Live the story that drives the change.

Shape a story that invites belief, builds trust, and helps people feel part of something meaningful by combining words with the emotional expression of belief, vision, and wisodm.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

“This isn't another framework — it's a shift in how we communicate with our clients and stakeholders, with practical strategies for driving improved results.”

workshop philosophy

Approach — Corporate Storytelling Training Workshop

Become a clear, adaptable and visual leadership communicator and align your team behind the change

Adapt Your Team’s Communications Skills to Changing Times

My business storytelling workshop begins from the foundational understanding that today’s communications environment has changed. Whether it is the volume of noise, the rise of AI, or the new emphasis for effective communication from non-traditional teams, like technical teams and change management, the cat is out of the bag when it comes to storytelling.

We can no longer follow static scripts and tired playbooks if it is our job to attract attention, drive buy-in, and motivate change.

What is the alternative? And how can your team get there as quickly as possible? These are the two primary questions that are answered by this workshop. Rather than theorizing about the role of storytelling, this storytelling training helps your team make a mindset shift and then immediately put your insights into action.

Together, you will learn how to:

  • Craft your ideas, insights, goals and data into clear, compelling strategic narratives

  • Apply your new approach to your real messages and stakeholders

  • Practice as a team and get feedback from your peers

  • Develop a tailored action plan that can kickstart a broader transformation.

You’ll improve your confidence, connection, and creativity; have a lot of fun; and get a mindset shift… all in one action-packed and immersive learning experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We work with organizations across industries where influence skills directly impact business outcomes.

Our clients typically include cross-functional product teams needing to build consensus without formal authority; marketing professionals seeking buy-in for strategic initiatives; sales teams advocating for customers internally; executives wanting to inspire genuine commitment rather than compliance; technology specialists driving system adoption; HR professionals implementing culture initiatives; operations teams motivating process improvements; finance departments creating action-driving fiscal narratives; and interdepartmental task forces aligning diverse stakeholders. Our workshops deliver particular value in matrix organizations, companies undergoing transformation, and environments where success depends on collaboration across boundaries rather than traditional command structures.

  • In-person, I deliver this workshop throughout North America — and, occasionally, further afield. I have legal permission to work in the US.

  • Most communication training focuses on delivery techniques or formulaic structures. Our business storytelling workshop addresses the deeper challenge: how to develop narratives that create meaning and drive change in complex environments. We focus on developing your team’s ability to apply storytelling concepts to your specific business challenges — rather than delivering narrow, formulaic storytelling frameworks.

  • We begin with a thorough discovery process that includes stakeholder interviews, analysis of your current communications, and identification of specific challenges and goals. This allows us to tailor every exercise, example, and discussion to your team's actual work. For sales teams, we focus on client-facing narratives; for technical teams, we emphasize translating complexity; for executive teams, we concentrate on vision and alignment. This customization ensures immediate relevance and application.

  • Teams consistently report three key outcomes: increased stakeholder engagement, improved ability to drive change initiatives, and enhanced cross-functional collaboration. Participants develop practical skills they can apply immediately while building a foundation for long-term communication excellence.

  • Yes. We've designed specialized versions of our workshop for virtual delivery that maintain high engagement and impact. Our virtual workshops utilize collaborative digital tools, breakout sessions, and specially designed activities that create meaningful interaction despite the digital format. Many clients choose a hybrid approach, with initial in-person workshops followed by virtual integration sessions.

  • Yes. I personally facilitate all workshops to ensure consistent quality and depth. For enterprise-level engagements that involve multiple workshops, Jordan leads the core program while occasionally bringing in carefully selected and trained associates for supporting components. This ensures the unique blend of emotional intelligence and strategic insight that defines our approach is present in every engagement.

  • Post-workshop support varies by package but typically includes implementation guidance materials, follow-up check-in sessions, leadership coaching options, and access to additional resources. Our $25,000 package includes two structured follow-up sessions and 90 days of implementation support. We believe real transformation happens after the workshop, which is why we emphasize sustainable integration into your team's actual work.

  • We establish clear success metrics during the discovery phase based on your specific goals. Common measurements include before/after assessments of stakeholder engagement, time-to-decision on key initiatives, team alignment scores, and qualitative feedback from key audiences. Clients typically see measurable improvement in the first 30 days, with significant transformation occurring over 90 days as new approaches are integrated into regular workflows.

  • Absolutely. Many clients begin with a single team workshop that demonstrates tangible results, then expand to a broader organizational approach. Our enterprise transformation program is specifically designed to embed new narrative capabilities across departments, creating organizational alignment and consistent stakeholder experiences. We've helped organizations implement storytelling as a core strategic competency that drives innovation, alignment, and external impact.
